Last year, I attended my first WordCamp ever (WordCamp Miami 2016) and I had a great time. Meeting others in the WordPress community reminded me of why I have chosen this medium for the last decade or so, lol. This year, I decided I wanted to speak at a WordCamp. I would have returned to WordCamp Miami but I had a clash so I didn’t even apply to speak. Looking at others that were “nearby”, I decided to try for WordCamp Ottawa. They accepted my talk “Perfect Platform: WordPress for Artists” and the rest is history… I ended up also …
